Sauteed Kale

Sauteed Kale
Kale is a green, leafy vegetable which is very high in nutrients, and very low in calories. It is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, proteins, iron, and fiber which is why it is good for digestion and weight control. Because of these health benefits, you should make kale as part of healthy life style. You should eat kale in the form of sauteed kale , kale salad, kale soup, kale chips.
Ingredients
- 4 bunches Kale leaves
- 1 no Medium onion
- 4 no Dry Red chilies(deseed)
- 1 tsp Salt(adjust to taste)
- 1 piece Garlic(grated)
- 3 tbsp Canola oil
- 2 lit Water(for boiling kale)
Instructions
- Wash and cut kale.
- Take a dip pot, add water and boil on medium to high heat. Once the water boil, add cut kale and boil for 15 minutes until it is tender to touch.
- After boiling kale, drain the water. Add cold water immediately to boiled kale, so it stops the further cooking. Squeeze the water from the kale and loosen the kale with hand.
- Cut onion and dried red chilies and keep aside.
- Take a pot, put it on medium heat. Add oil, let heat the oil, add cubed onion and red chilies and sauté for 3 minutes until onion is light golden. Add grated garlic and sauté for 2 minutes, add boiled kale and salt and sauté for 5 minutes.
