Paneer Tikka Masala Curry

Paneer is very popular vegetarian dish. Paneer contains protein, calcium, fat and carbohydrates. Paneer is a good choice of protein due to its fewer carbs and grate amount of protein. Paneer is a versatile food; it goes well with almost everything. You can add paneer on salad, vegetables and curries. One of the testiest and healthiest recipes are Paneer tikka masala.


Paneer Tikka Masala Curry

Ingredients
- 1 lb Paneer(cubed cut)
- 1 no onion(cubed cut)
- 3 no Ripe tomatoes(cubed cut)
- 20 no Whole Cashews
- 1 no Black Cardamom
- 7 no Green Cardamom
- 5 no Luong
- 1 no Bay Leaf
- 1 1 inch Cinnamon
- 4 no Garlic cloves
- 1 1 inch Ginger
- 4 no Whole red chilies
- 1 tblsp Butter
- 3 tblsp Canola oil
- 1 tsp Red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp Salt(adjust to taste)
- 2 tsp Brown sugar
- 1 liter Water
- 4 tbsp Canola oil( for frying paneer)
- 1 tbsp Paneer tikka masala(any brand)
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
Instructions
- Take the whole garam masala and cashew nuts.
- Take onion and tomatoes and cut into cube.
- Take one pot, add one liter water and add all garam masala, onion and tomatoes.put the pot on medium heat and boil all the ingredients util cashew nuts are smush.
- Keep aside the boiled and cooked garam masala and let it cool down. Once it cool down, take a blender and grind until it is smooth.
- Strain the puree through strainer. Keep aside the puree and prepare paneer.
- Take paneer and cut into cubes.
- Add tikka masala to paneer pieces.
- Add all purpose flour to paneer pieces.
- Mix all ingredients and keep aside.
- Take one pan, add canola oil, once the oil is hot enough, add tikka masala coated paneer and shallow fry on one side for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Flip the paneer and shallow fry on other side
- Keep fried paneer aside and prepare the curry.
- Take one one pan, put it on low to medium heat. Add canola oil and butter.
- Once the oil and butter is warm enough, add red chili and turmeric powder.
- Add puree to the masala and cook until it forms bubbles.
- Add fried paneer tikka and salt. Let it cook for 5 minutes. Yummy Paneer Tikka is ready.
