Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Tondali/Tindora
  • 1/2 piece Onion
  • 1/2 piece Tomato
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 3 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 tsp Salt(or adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Wash tondali/tindora with water and cut into length wise or circles and put it in the water.
  • Take a pot, put it on medium heat, add oil and let it heat for 2 to 4 minutes. Add mustard seeds, let it sputter. Add cumin seeds, add onion and cook until golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste to onion, let it cook for 1 to 2 minutes until pale in color.
  • Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala and salt, let it cook 1 minutes. Add 1 to 2 tablespoon water and let the masala cook for a 2 minutes.
  • Add tondali/tindora to cooked masala and mix together.
  • Add a cup of water and cover the pot with lid and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Tondali/Tindora curry is ready.
